Inspired by the first visit to the lake in northern Minnesota and fresh florals lingering in the late spring air, I created a concoction to please the family's palates while they soak up the sun all day together on the boat.
Lake Water cocktail
1.5 ounce of gin (preferably botanical)
.75 oz Crème de Violette
2 dashes of peach bitters
6 oz of fresh squeezed lemonade
Stir, serve over ice and garnish with fresh lavender and tell everyone you’re drinking Lake Water
